we announce that the assembly of about 1 km of belt conveyors used in a crushing plant with destination south of France is being finished. The specifications imposed by the client company was really very strict and led us not just to implement those technical solutions already known to us but to develop additional ones, so that all technical and safety requirements were respected.
The plant has already been in operation for some months and it is with great pride that we can say all of the inspections carried out by French safety bodies were successful and no complaints were raised. All speed, capacity, motor absorption tests as well as other tests have given positive results.
Some examples of the protection systems used are: the protection of the roller bearing shaft on both sides, its upper protection, the protections at the loading area by means of plastic systems applied on all roller bearing stations, shaft protections of the return roller on both sides and the protections on the lower rollers.

Respect de l’environnement

The conveyors shown here are placed inside closed buildings and are used for the transport of siliceous sand and stone aggregates with grain size from 0.1 to 6 mm., for the production of composite slabs used for kitchen tops, exterior cladding of buildings and others.
This type of dry product has the significant problem of being very dusty hence the need to use all caution necessary to minimize product spills for the respect of the environment and the people who work there.
Another important aspect is to absolutely avoid any contamination of any particle inside the finished slab – a white slab with black impurities is to be discarded.
The need therefore arises to use white rubber belts and white bibs to avoid any product contamination. It is possible to see in our exhibition area some conveyors that we are finishing with India as final destination which, to meet the requirements described above are:
completely closed;
axels and connecting plates closed with special rubber;
belt cleaning brush driven by an electric motor;
inspection doors are made on the unloading hopper;
in the lower part there are openable drawers for the recovery of the return material;
and finally, here is the image of a conveyor already tested and ready to be loaded in containers.


we would like to briefly explain our approach to the design of a belt conveyor. We start from the design data that the customer provides us, this information is processed by our special software that gives us basic information such as power, belt type, speed and other information that make the development of the conveyor possible.
Then a preliminary drawing is made and then the modeling and the structural verifications are carried out using a dedicated FEM program. Here are some brief, amplified examples of how structures behave under analysis. We then proceed to the construction, assembly, final testing with all the various verification tests and then see the finished machine installed on site.

Our attention to new products that the global market provides is always very high. The specific scraper for chevrons belt that we show here is a classic example. It is composed of single parts in polyurethane with hard metal elements at the ends that, by resting on the belt, can eliminate those product parts which remain on it in the return area.
The self-alignment roller as well as the centering station in the upper part help in a decisive manner, especially on long conveyors, to ensure that the belt remains well aligned and there is no misalignment. As we know the misalignment are to be avoided as much as possible so that there are no losses of product during transport which could cause damage to the structures and its components.

Using a drive pulley lagging with ceramic inserts is a solution used more and more in recent years since the adhesion of the belt with these inserts is really better therefore when a weighing belt conveyor that start loaded with some tons of product such better adherence prevents the sliding of the drive pulley. The use of flexible teeth couplings such as the application in the picture allows a better axial coupling both with respect to the alignment between the gear shaft and the drive roller shaft as well as better ease of disassembly and reassembly in case of maintenance.

An extremely important aspect is that of belt cleaning. The images below show the possibility of installing high performance scrapers like Belle Banne, Martin and Hosch as well as offering our tried and tested models like the FT 08 and FT10. In the sample frame on our exhibition area they are installed and can be viewed.
An idler that we have increasingly been installing is the PHED idler with a thickness of 9 mm. results in a much better life span compared to those commonly used in steel.
We also mention the possibility of equipping our conveyors, both of a dosing type and not of continuous weighing systems. Here are some pictures showing the assembly of weighing systems on dosing belts and on inclined belts with a reticular structure.
We want to innovate and so we are analyzing the possibility of creating a frame with bolted geometries and fastening systems for long conveyors in order to save space in container transport.

Last but not least, the most important aspect in our opinion: the continuous investment in professional development and life-long learning.
We have hired engineers and mechanical technicians, we employ young interns, we rely on external engineering companies, we employ new computer systems and training courses are constantly held both inside and outside the company, we are always learning to use new software, and improving the use of our existing ones.
We try to compare the needs our different production departments, trying to identify synergies, improving all processes, ensuring the streamlining of costs, quality management as well as enabling our operators to carry out their tasks in the best possible way.
We strongly believe in the expertise of our company staff and we try to invest heavily in young people as well.
